Matty is passionate about partnering with founders and management teams to help them build great businesses and achieve their growth plans.
Prior to joining M33, Matty worked as a private equity associate at BV Investment Partners. At BV, he provided portfolio coverage and executed strategic acquisitions in the government technology and financial technology verticals. Prior to BV, Matty worked as an investment banker at Shea & Company, where he focused on software M&A. Matty had the opportunity to work with companies across a range of software sectors, including government, real estate, workforce management, and marketing. This work included Lexipol's acquisition by GTCR, Angus Systems' acquisition by MRI Software and WCAS' investment in ImageTrend.
Matty graduated from Northeastern University, with a B.S. in Finance. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, kayaking, watching football and exploring new restaurants
